Kakha Kemoklidze: Georgian Dream is not interested in the August War but rather in shifting the focus from the political crisis to the investigative commission – and Grigol Vashadze is more a part of Georgian Dream than the opposition

I think Grigol Vashadze is more a part of "Georgian Dream" than any opposition party," – this is how one of the leaders of "For Georgia," Kakha Kemoklidze, responded to the former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Grigol Vashadze, appearing before the parliamentary temporary investigative commission examining the activities of the "United National Movement" government.

As Kakha Kemoklidze stated on Palitra News' program "360 Degrees," this is his personal assessment based on his "private information and analytical instincts."

"In my deep conviction, as of today, Mr. Vashadze is no longer a former high-ranking official of the 'United National Movement.' I believe he is more a part of 'Georgian Dream' than any opposition party. I say this based on my personal information and analytical instincts.

What I know for certain is that Mr. Vashadze definitely does not represent the opposition wing. In my opinion, he is much closer to 'Georgian Dream' than to any opposition party, considering various factors. That is his choice, and he does what he does," – stated Kakha Kemoklidze.

According to Kakha Kemoklidze, "Georgian Dream" is not interested in the August War but rather in shifting the focus in the information space from the political crisis to the investigative commission.

"The so-called investigative commission has attempted to introduce a new informational discussion in Georgia. Over the past few days, they have succeeded in doing so. I do not believe that these people are genuinely interested in the August War or its real investigation, especially at a deep analytical level. In my opinion, they have no understanding of the conflict or its genesis," – stated Kakha Kemoklidze.
