Kakha Kaladze: There are many high-profile cases where there are questions regarding Khazaradze, that’s why he did not come to  investigative commission, because they did not want the public to see what their role was under the government of Mikheil Saakashvili

Mamuka Khazaradze was summoned to the parliamentary temporary investigative commission - in case of his failure to appear, the law provides for appropriate measures and, of course, this will be implemented, - the Secretary General of the Georgian Dream, Kakha Kaladze, said in response to the fact that Mamuka Khazaradze, the leader of the Lelo - Strong Georgia, did not appear at the parliamentary temporary investigative commission.

According to him, Khazaradze-Japaridze did not appear at the parliamentary temporary investigative commission because they did not want the public to see "what their role was under the government of Mikheil Saakashvili".

“You can understand why they [Khazaradze-Japaridze] avoided it. These people were not members of a political party, although under Mikheil Saakashvili’s government, they had their function and there are many high-profile cases where there are questions regarding Khazaradze. Of course, that is why they did not want to come [to the commission] and once again, the public to see what their role was under Mikheil Saakashvili’s government.

As for Khazaradze-Japaridze’s failure to appear before the commission, the law stipulates what measures should be taken and there will be an appropriate response,” Kaladze said.
