"I strongly condemn the physical violence against opposition members, journalists, human rights defenders, and peaceful demonstrators in Georgia," – this is how French MEP Nathalie Loiseau reacted to the arrest of Coalition for Change member Elene Khoshtaria during a protest near the Parliament.

"I strongly condemn violent arrests and physical abuses against opposition figures, journalists, human rights activists and peaceful protesters in Georgia. The Georgian Dream has stolen elections and is destroying democracy and rule of law. Europe must act, urgently !" Loiseau wrote on X.
