Giorgi Vashadze: Georgian Dream will not be able to declare the parties unconstitutional, this is an unrealizable issue - Georgian Dream has “bewitched” the citizens of Georgia through “false propaganda, narratives” – we have our path, we cannot break them in one day, but we will break them

I think that Georgian Dream will not be able to make this decision [to declare the parties unconstitutional], this is an unrealizable issue - the Strasbourg Court can use a temporary mechanism, suspend the operation of the law and our parties will exist, - said the leader of the Strategy Builder, Giorgi Vashadze, responding to the plans of the Georgian Dream to apply to the Constitutional Court, based on the conclusion of the investigative commission created in the parliament, regarding the declaration of the National Movement and "its satellite parties" as unconstitutional.

As Giorgi Vashadze noted on PalitraNews TV company, all such decisions reduce the supporters of the Georgian Dream.

"Why did they make the statement now, so hastily? - I don't think that this was a well-thought-out statement. Georgian Dream is going through a difficult time. Why? - Let's remember the day, Thursday, when they made the statement. On the one hand, the MEGOBARI Act, which is the most difficult issue for them, because they have to answer the question: - Why don't they want American investments? Why don't they want visa-free travel to America? Why don't they want more support from America in defense capabilities? Why don't they want free trade?... On the other hand, I must say that under the conditions of the commission, Thursday was very catastrophic for them. Everything turned out to be the opposite. All this is illegitimate and the people saw that they were trying to strengthen their positions with Russian arguments, including Medvedev's letter. They got to the point where they read Medvedev's letter. Accordingly, they were given the task that the difficult day would continue the next day and they had to cover it up with something, and suddenly they jumped out and started talking about the parties. Therefore, when we hear their initiative, we must have a very specific test - why now? Why this madness? And what are they planning to hide, cover up?”, - Vashadze said.

According to him, the Georgian Dream has “bewitched” the citizens of Georgia through “false propaganda, narratives”.

“It has people bewitched by the propaganda machine. The Georgian Dream supplies this audience with false propaganda, narratives like a narcotic substance.

Bidzina Ivanishvili does not have the strength to speak to America or Europe. I repeat once again, the main target of all these steps is the Georgian society, to which he wants to show that nothing affects Ivanishvili. First of all, [his goal is] to maintain his fragile unity and make us think that- nothing affects this man. In fact, everything affects him! ", - Vashadze noted.

In addition, according to Vashadze, Georgian Dream is much weaker today than it was two or three months ago.

“They are isolated, both inside and outside the country, they have no recognition. Our resilience and the inviolability of the line of resistance are of decisive importance. We have chosen a path - we cannot break it in one day, but we will break it. Each following day is much harder for him [Bidzina Ivanishvili] than for this side [the opposition]. We have one main issue, that the inviolability of our line of resistance must be unanimous, we must not fail. Today, the Georgian Dream is much weaker than it was even two or three months ago.

If the Georgian Dream were strong, it would have called elections today, but it knows that if it calls elections now, it will lose them. Georgian Dream is much weaker than it was.

Today we have the first step to take: we must wage an information war against the Georgian Dream,” Vashadze said, adding that the Georgian Dream knows that it will have to call parliamentary elections.
