Tina Bokuchava: Starting tomorrow, the struggle will move to a different phase

Starting tomorrow, the struggle will move to a different phase, - Tina Bokuchava, the chairwoman of the National Movement, said at the ongoing rally on Rustaveli.

According to Tina Bokuchava, the goal of the Georgian Dream is to break bridges between the people and the opposition and separate them, however, the protest cannot be converted into a political result if political forces are not involved in the process.

“Today we will gather to celebrate this historic date, and in my opinion, starting tomorrow the struggle will move to another phase, where once again the citizens of Georgia will play the most important role. People who have been standing here on Rustaveli Avenue for more than 3 months. The order should come from the people and the society.

In my opinion, the attempt to stigmatize political parties is Ivanishvili’s agenda. We must understand well that any public protest, which is important to be self-organized, cannot be converted into a political result if political forces are not involved in it and united with the people. Breaking bridges and separating politicians from the people only suits Ivanishvili’s regime and the Security Service. We must work for unity,” said Tina Bokuchava.
