Let's gather near the parliament and not leave, let's stay together until the end! We can't continue like this! - Opera singer Paata Burchuladze said on a specially installed stage on Rustaveli Avenue after the fifth President Salome Zurabishvili finished her address and left Rustaveli Avenue.
Burchuladze called on political parties to unite.
“We see that we are losing our country and freedom. Soon we will not have a country and we will be somewhere lost. Therefore, I am coming in with a proposal, we must act. You see, political parties are not doing anything, the president is not doing anything at all, therefore I am coming in with a proposal, let's wait until April 8, gather here and not leave, let's be together until the end! We cannot continue like this! If political parties join us, great, if not, we will be together, we have no other choice!”, - said Paata Burchuladze.
At the moment, citizens are still staying on Rustaveli, despite the fact that Salome Zurabishvili has finished her speech. As they says, they are not going to disperse.
In addition, some of the protest participants moved to the back entrance of the parliament.
