Mamuka Khazaradze: Whatever decision is made by the court, I will meet it very calmly

Mamuka Khazaradze, the leader of the Lelo – Strong Georgia party, said he would calmly accept any decision made by the court today. As Khazaradze told journalists in court, he and all patriotic people are united by one idea: that Georgia be independent, free, and that Bidzina Ivanishvili not seize the country.

"Whatever decision the court makes today, I am sure that all people who stayed in Georgia or are in exile have one thing in common: to put this country on the path of development, to return the country, the court, the prosecutor's office, and all agencies that Bidzina Ivanishvili has seized. Most importantly, to prevent him from handing this country over to the Russians. Therefore, it is not about Mamuka Khazaradze here, it is about this very idea, this goal, that our country be independent, free, firmly at peace, and set on the path of development. Whatever decision is made, I will meet it very calmly," Khazaradze said.

According to him, all patriots and responsible citizens understand how valuable freedom, democracy, and independence are. He thanked the public for their support. “I would like to personally thank everyone who has expressed their support to me in various ways these days, whether through social media or personal messages. I really appreciate this support, especially from unknown people,” Khazaradze said.

For information, a hearing will be held at the Tbilisi City Court on the new charges against Mamuka Khazaradze, one of the leaders of Lelo - Strong Georgia, which pertains to the failure to comply with the request of the Temporary Investigative Commission of the Georgian Parliament.
