"Over the past few days, we have had consultations with Grigol Liluashvili and it became clear that he had different approaches to the principles of the ministry's activities, including the personnel policy to be implemented in the ministry. Therefore, we have decided that Grigol Liluashvili will no longer hold the position of Minister of Regional Development. Kakhaber Guledani will be appointed as the minister.

Kakha Guledani has very extensive experience in management and working on regional issues. For years, he had worked in the private sector. In 2016-17, he held the position of Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia. Later, he was the Governor of Samgori District, Head of the Tbilisi Municipal Inspection. Kakha Guledani has held the position of Deputy Mayor of Tbilisi up to now. I would like to wish him success," Kobakhidze said.
