Anri Okhanashvili: We will work tirelessly to uphold and strengthen the great responsibility entrusted to us before the state and society, and most importantly, to stand guard over our country

"I will do everything to justify, at the highest level, the special trust shown to me by the Prime Minister," — said the head of the State Security Service, Anri Okhanashvili, at the State Security Service, where he was introduced by the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze.

This information was released by the government administration.

According to Anri Okhanashvili, the agency will do everything to further strengthen the institution.

"It is a special honor for me to have received such great and exceptional trust from the Prime Minister, the government team, and later, the Parliament of Georgia. I would like to express my gratitude to Grigol Liluashvili for his attitude and for the relationship we have built over the years. I will do everything to justify this special trust shown to me by the Prime Minister — and I will do so together with my deputies: Irakli Beraia, who has been appointed as First Deputy, as well as Gela Geladze and Levan Kharanauli. We will work tirelessly to uphold and strengthen the great responsibility we bear before our state and society, continue fulfilling our duties as we have until now, further strengthen the institution, and most importantly, stand guard over our country," said Anri Okhanashvili.
