Shalva Papuashvili: To this day, we have not seen any act of violence or any dignity-offending campaign condemned; failure to condemn is encouragement

“To this day, we have not seen any act of violence or any campaign that offends dignity condemned; and failure to condemn is encouragement,” – Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili writes on social media.

According to him, it is cynical to invoke "dignity" as a pretext for interfering in another nation’s internal affairs.

“How cynical it is to use 'dignity' as a justification for intervening in another nation’s life—especially when, through European funds and in the name of Europe, the following are being financed: the fascist website Mona.ge, hate-filled and dignity-offending hysterical attacks, propaganda that incites hostility, the promotion of Molotov cocktail use.

To this day, we have not seen any condemnation of any act of violence or any campaign that degrades human dignity. And failure to condemn is, in itself, an encouragement,”

– writes Papuashvili.
