According to Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, the ruling party has the ambition to win in all 64 municipalities in the local elections.
As Kobakhidze told journalists, the opposition is doomed to defeat, and research shows the expected victory of the "Georgian Dream."
"For us, the participation of the opposition in the local elections might be of some interest, as they will be defeated even more severely than they were in the presidential elections. We have the ambition to achieve a higher result than we did in the parliamentary elections. Current research indicates that our rating has further improved. The rest is the opposition's business. Regardless, the opposition is doomed to a heavy defeat in all 64 municipalities. We will win both the mayoral and the council elections in all 64 municipalities across the country," Kobakhidze stated.
