Irakli Kobakhidze: Japaridze and Khazaradze have nothing to say, they are avoiding appearing before the investigative commission, that is their choice – Georgia is governed by laws and procedures, and things will proceed according to those laws

Japaridze and Khazaradze have nothing to say, they are avoiding appearing before the investigative commission – that is their choice. Georgia is governed by laws, and procedures will continue in accordance with these laws, Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.

As he noted, there are very clear cases about which the investigative commission wants to obtain more information.

"These individuals have nothing to say. There are very clear cases about which the investigative commission wants to receive more information. Since these matters are uncomfortable for certain individuals who are suspected of committing serious crimes, they are avoiding appearing before the investigative commission. That is their choice. Georgia is governed by laws, and procedures will proceed according to those laws," said Irakli Kobakhidze.
