The Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, introduced the new Minister of Justice, Paata Salia, to the staff of the Ministry of Justice.
As the head of government noted, Paata Salia has practiced law very successfully for many years and is one of the most highly qualified lawyers in the country.
The Prime Minister thanked former Justice Minister Anri Okhanashvili for his work and wished him success in his new role as head of the State Security Service.
"I thank Anri Okhanashvili for his work at the Ministry of Justice. He has taken on a position of exceptional importance — he has become the Head of the State Security Service, which is a very significant responsibility, and I wish him great success in this new role.
Now I would like to introduce Paata Salia. He is one of the most successful lawyers in Georgia. He has practiced law very successfully for many years and is among the most highly qualified legal professionals in our country. In recent months, he has been a member of our political team and of the Parliament of Georgia, and now he takes on the position of Minister of Justice.
He has all the qualities needed to lead this vitally important institution with honor. He is not only a highly skilled professional but also a person of integrity, endowed with every human virtue. I want to wish Paata Salia great success — I am confident he will be an outstanding Minister of Justice," said Irakli Kobakhidze.
