Irakli Kobakhidze: Everyone knows that a specific disgraceful act was funded by foreign donors – the actions carried out by NGO representatives on April 9 had specific donors behind them

The actions carried out by NGO representatives on April 9 had specific donors behind them — Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated this to journalists.

According to him, such anti-state actions are financed by specific donors "who are very far removed from European values."

“In reality, everyone knows that this particular disgrace was funded by foreign donors. The actions carried out by NGO representatives on April 9 had specific donors behind them. These donors do not take responsibility, and naturally, they will struggle to do so for one simple reason — they are already discredited in the eyes of the Georgian public, and of course, they do not want to suffer even greater discredit. However, we will tell the public the truth on their behalf and remind them that such anti-state actions are financed by specific donors who are very far removed from everything we used to recognize as European values.

It is precisely certain European bureaucrats and officials who are going against European values in our country, and naturally, this has a very negative impact on the image of European institutions in the eyes of the Georgian public. I hope that the situation will change in this regard in the future,” Kobakhidze stated.
