When Tea Tsulukiani speaks about the fact that this war could have been avoided for the country and that it was possible for our heroes to be alive and take care of their families, this is simply a statement of fact and a statement of the objective reality we are dealing with - if it were not for the order that Saakashvili's regime received and carried out, there would have naturally be neither war nor victims, - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists about Tea Tsulukiani's statement regarding Giorgi Antsukhelidze.
According to him, the fact that citizens gathered at Tsulukiani's house to protest her statement is "another manifestation of liberal fascism."
"This is another manifestation of liberal fascism, and secondly, such processes show that the opposition is completely desperate. Otherwise, the implementation of such ineffective and absolutely fascist actions is inexplicable, such actions are doomed to failure. All processes related to the strengthening of democracy in the country will continue. Among them, when we talk about the activities of the investigative commission, these are also one of the most important processes that should strengthen the democratic system in Georgia. The role of Tea Tsulukiani is key here, she is a very good chairwoman of the commission, she leads the activities of the commission well, and this irritates those forces that in the past committed numerous crimes against their own country and people. The opposition is desperate, their methods are fascist, and what we saw yesterday is a manifestation of all this. In fact, Mrs. Tea Tsulukiani made a clear statement, we all know very well that not only could this war have been avoided, but this war was started by the Saakashvili regime, which they then signed, they themselves acknowledged. Accordingly, when Tea Tsulukiani talks about the fact that this war could have been avoided for the country and it was possible for our heroes to be alive and take care of their families, this is simply a statement of fact and a statement of the objective data which we are dealing with. If it were not for the order that Saakashvili's regime received and carried out, naturally, there would have been neither war nor victims. Tea Tsulukiani focused on this. Everything is absolutely clear and obvious," said Irakli Kobakhidze.
