“I fully understand how great a responsibility it is to lead the Ministry. I want to sincerely thank Irakli Karseladze – the entire country has witnessed how much important work has been done in this area over the years,” said Revaz Sokhadze, the nominee for Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, during a briefing at the Government Administration.

Sokhadze also expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for the trust placed in him.

“I fully understand the responsibility that comes with leading this ministry. I would like to thank Irakli Karseladze – everyone in the country saw the significant work that has been done in this direction in recent years. I also want to thank the Chairman of the Tbilisi City Council, the Mayor, Council members, and City Hall employees. Over the years, I had the opportunity to implement many important projects in this city alongside them. Once again, thank you to the Prime Minister and the entire team for the trust. I hope our work will be successful,” Sokhadze stated.

For context, Irakli Karseladze has stepped down as Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure and will be replaced by Revaz Sokhadze.

The announcement was made by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze during a briefing held at the Government Chancellery.
