Irakli Kobakhidze: We had to live in a forced cohabitation regime for years, today Georgia is independent and sovereign like never before

Today, Georgia is more independent and sovereign than ever, and this is one of the main achievements of our country since 2012, - said the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze.

According to him, until 2012, the country had completely lost its sovereignty.

“We had to live in a forced cohabitation regime for years. To some extent, this regime has been preserved to this day, however, today we have a radically different situation. Naturally, this took time. Today we have the opportunity to fully prove our independence and sovereignty. We have been moving towards this point year after year.

Today, Georgia is independent and sovereign like never before. This is also one of the main achievements that our country has had since 2012. Until 2012, the country had completely lost its sovereignty. For 9 years, the country was ruled by a foreign agency. Today, the situation is fundamentally different, when the country has regained real sovereignty and independence,” Kobakhidze said on Imedi TV.
