What is happening in Georgia since this morning, does it look like Europe or Russia? - Where does such a thing happen? In Russia. Where doesn't it happen? In the European Union, - the leader of Strategy Builder, Giorgi Vashadze, told journalists.

According to him, the investigation launched by the Prosecutor's Office is directed against the national interests of Georgia.

"Let's first ask a very specific question - what is happening in Georgia now, since this morning, does it look like Europe or Russia? Where does such a thing happen? In Russia. Where does not such a thing happen? In the European Union. That is why we want Georgia to be a democratic state, a member state of the European Union, where such a thing does not happen, where people who are fighting for their homeland are not raided at home, where pregnant women with young children are not visited by the police at home and treated so cruelly. So what do I connect it to?! First - the fact that they have not gained recognition on the international stage. Second - they have not been able to break the unity and protest within the country. Third - they have now started to complain on a mass scale that the sanctions are bothering them very much, that all this is very difficult, that is why they are doing this to demonstrate their power. Such things only happen in Russia. That is why Ivanishvili's regime is the Russian Ivanishvili regime and that is why it must end," Vashadze said.

For information, this morning, representatives of the Prosecutor's Office searched the apartments of activists Mariam Bajelidze and Mariam Geguchadze, as well as Aleko Tskitishvili, the head of the non-governmental organization Human Rights Center. The agency is still searching the house of the founder of the Nanuka Foundation, Nanuka Zhorzholiani.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, the case concerns the ongoing investigation into the facts of sabotage, attempted sabotage under aggravating circumstances, assistance to a foreign organization and an organization under foreign control in hostile activities, and mobilization of funds for activities directed against the constitutional order and foundations of national security of Georgia.

Michał Kobosko - we hope that your government eventually would either choose the European way, the democratic way or would resign seeing the number, the size and scale of the citizens' protests
