A report tailored to the interests of the Russian occupying state was prepared on behalf of the State Security Service of Georgia, the report is a carrier of Moscow’s interests, and not Georgia’s, Ana Natsvlishvili, a member of the coalition Lelo – Strong Georgia, said responding to the report of the State Security Service.

According to her, the State Security Service report was written in Moscow.

“It is very clear from this report that it was not written in the capital of Georgia, it was not written from the prism of Georgia’s national security, it is a report written in Moscow. It assesses the Georgian issue in exactly the same way, looks at issues in the same way as Moscow looks at the issue of Georgian security.

It is difficult to see that on behalf of the State Security Service of Georgia, a report tailored to the interests of the Russian occupying state was prepared, which is a carrier of Moscow’s interests, and not Georgia’s,” Natsvlishvili noted.

For information, according to the State Security Service report, a certain group of individuals planned to provoke civil unrest and destabilization, the ultimate goal of which was to change the government by force. In addition, the report states that in 2024, foreign special services in Georgia actively tried to establish contacts with various political forces and their leaders in order to pursue the interests of their own countries.

The State Security Service report notes that as a result of counterintelligence activities, it was possible to neutralize measures that were inspired by foreign special services and were detrimental to the country's national interests.
