The US and Ukraine have signed a historic agreement on rare earth minerals, which is an important, mutually beneficial step that further strengthens the strategic partnership between the two countries, Mamuka Khazaradze, the leader of the Lelo-Strong Georgia movement, writes on social media.
According to him, Central Asia also has significant reserves of rare earth minerals, and Georgia is clearly a critical transit hub for these resources, which is why the completion of the Anaklia deep-sea port with renewed American investments is of strategic importance.
“This agreement is an important step towards a just and lasting peace, in the context of the brutal war initiated by Russia.
It is important to note that Central Asia has significant reserves of rare earth minerals. Georgia is uniquely positioned as a critical transit hub for these resources, connecting them to European and American markets via the Black Sea. That is why the completion of the Anaklia deep-sea port with renewed American investment is of strategic importance.
Unfortunately, Bidzina Ivanishvili’s pro-Russian, pro-Chinese regime has halted the project and illegally seized it from American and European investors. It is imperative to correct this injustice, resume the construction of the port, and once again highlight Georgia’s role as a reliable partner and geostrategic ally of the West,” writes Mamuka Khazaradze.
