The May 26 Organizing Committee will be formed from representatives of various spheres of society. The fifth President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, announced the above on social media.

As Zurabishvili wrote on Facebook, the May 26 Organizing Committee will include members of public movements, public servants, representatives of the cultural and business sectors, and politicians.

“The May 26 Organizing Committee will be formed from representatives of various spheres of society, including: public movements, activists participating in the protest, students, public servants, family members of political prisoners, representatives of the cultural sector, business sector, political parties, and the Resistance Platform,” she said.
