Today, the world is facing the most difficult challenges. We see how influential forces are trying to make even the most powerful states cede state sovereignty - this is an unequal struggle, where only truth gives you the opportunity to maintain your advantage, - the newly elected chairman of the Georgian Dream, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, noted in his speech at the party congress.

According to him, the ruling party is given the strength to remain strong by the belief that any manifestation of weakness can cost the country its destruction, and therefore, any retreat is a crime against the country.

“Today, the world is facing the most difficult challenges. We see how influential forces are trying to make even the most powerful states cede state sovereignty; we see how they are destroying the economies of many countries; we see how they are trampling the elementary principles of democracy and the rule of law even in the countries that consider themselves the birthplace of these principles; we see how they are trying to erase the national and religious identity of countries with ancient cultures; we see how they are fighting Christianity and other traditional religious confessions; we see how they are fighting all spheres of culture; we see how they are using different countries as bait to achieve their own vicious political interests; we see how they are trying to erase people's personal identity, how they are opposing morality and traditional values, and instilling numerous vices. Even 10-15 years ago, it would be very difficult for us to imagine that all this would be considered the norm. Naturally, Georgia could not be left behind these unhealthy global political processes, and therefore, for the entire 13 years, we have had and continue to have an uncompromising fight for the sovereignty of Georgia, for the well-being of the Georgian people, for democracy and the rule of law; we have to fight to protect Christianity, to preserve peace, to strengthen traditional values and public morality. This is an unequal fight, where only truth gives you the opportunity to maintain your advantage. This is a very difficult fight, where the belief that any manifestation of weakness can cost the destruction of your country gives you the strength to remain strong, and accordingly, any retreat is a crime against your own country. Many thanks to the Georgian people, who have shown exceptional experience and wisdom over the past few years and have firmly stood guard over Georgia's national interests. It was the trust and support of the Georgian people and society that allowed us to overcome the most difficult challenges in the most difficult moments," said Irakli Kobakhidze.

Michał Kobosko - we hope that your government eventually would either choose the European way, the democratic way or would resign seeing the number, the size and scale of the citizens' protests
