After the radicals are removed from Georgian politics, which will happen very soon, we will definitely defeat hatred, bring back our misled fellow citizens, and unite our society, - the newly elected chairman of the Georgian Dream, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, noted in his speech at the party congress.

According to him, the national goal of the Georgian Dream is the physical unification of both Georgian society and Georgia.

“We have clear state tasks. These are to further strengthen the democratic system and the rule of law, strengthen Georgia’s independence and security, develop the Georgian economy, strengthen Georgia’s foreign policy positions, and Georgia’s accession to the European Union. Along with state tasks, we have two national goals, two national Georgian dreams. Our goal is to bring prosperity to every Georgian family. Therefore, we will spare no effort to continue Georgia’s rapid economic development, which has allowed us to double the country’s economy over the past 4 years; our national goal is the unification of Georgia. By unification, on the one hand, we mean the unification of Georgian society. We see how Georgians are trying to instill hatred for each other from the outside, how they are trying to sow hatred for everything Georgian, including the Georgian state and our mother church. After the radicals are removed from Georgian politics, which will happen very soon, we will definitely defeat hatred, return our misled fellow citizens, and we will unite our society. This is our national task. We will not allow anyone to divide Georgian society with hatred and we will unite people with love for each other and their homeland. On the other hand, by unification we mean the physical unification of Georgia. The return of Abkhazia and Abkhazians, Tskhinvali and Ossetians to a united Georgian state. We believe that with peace, love and patience, we will definitely restore trust and, along with trust, unity and thus, we will fulfill our main national, Georgian dream of a united Georgia. Ladies and gentlemen, love overcomes hatred, goodness overcomes evil and truth overcomes lies. We will win many more times, because we are driven by love for our country and people, we want more good for our country and people and we are righteous in the fight for our homeland.
