Despite the rather difficult situation in the world, Georgia remains at the center of attention of our friends — both from the United States and the European Union. The “MEGOBARI Act” is a show of support for the Georgian people, – stated Giorgi Baramidze, Political Secretary of “Unity – National Movement.”

According to him, Georgia's partner countries have not forgotten Georgia and stand beside the absolute majority of Georgian society.

“The ‘MEGOBARI Act’ is an extremely important document that, unfortunately, our partners found necessary to adopt in order to send a very clear signal to the treacherous pro-Russian, pro-Chinese, and pro-Iranian regime. There will be no ‘reset’ in relations with this criminal regime. Relations will be restored only when this mafia gang is no longer in power… Bidzina Ivanishvili’s gang has grossly violated Georgia’s Constitution… Everyone can clearly see the dictatorial regime that has taken shape in Georgia and how human rights are being violated. Naturally, the civilized world will not tolerate the current situation in Georgia.

The Georgian people’s struggle will continue. The ‘MEGOBARI Act’ is part of that support — support for the absolute majority of our society, those who want a civilized, democratic path for Georgia.
