Salome Zurabishvili: Our freedom begins and ends with Europe. There is no freedom, no prosperity, no peace with Russia

Our freedom begins and ends with Europe. There is no freedom, no prosperity, no peace with Russia, - said the fifth President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, who joined the rally ongoing in Europe Square.

According to Zurabishvili, victory and a return to the European path are absolutely inevitable.

"Everyone feels very well that our freedom begins and ends with Europe. There is no freedom, no prosperity, no peace with Russia. Our path is so clear that people are coming without anyone calling them to do so. These people are coming, they will stand here, and victory and a return to the European path are absolutely inevitable. No one can oppose this," - said Salome Zurabishvili.

Zurabishvili also commented on the protest rally planned for May 26, noting that May 26 is the day when we should all stand together.

"This is the day when we must all stand up and say that we will save freedom and independence. Independence is never given forever. We are all obligated to stand by independence and defend it. May 26 is the day when we must all stand together and show each other, the Georgian Dream, and the entire world that Georgia will defend its independence always and everywhere," said Salome Zurabishvili.
