“Lelo – For a Strong Georgia” continues its meetings with local residents in regions, cities, and villages across Georgia. The main goal and objective of the regional campaign is close coordination with citizens living in the regions, according to a statement released by the press service of “Strong Georgia.”

According to them, local residents are meeting with the chairman of “Lelo – For a Strong Georgia,” Mamuka Khazaradze, the secretary general Irakli Kupradze, and the chairman of the political council Badri Japaridze.

“Today in Tsalenjikha, I met with supporters of our coalition and members of the protest community – truly strong, determined people from all districts of Samegrelo. Every day Samegrelo is fighting for change – standing in the streets and strengthening the protest wave unfolding in the country. I’m glad that our coalition is growing significantly in this region as well. This means that we will continue our fight with even greater effort for new elections and the release of political prisoners!” – said Mamuka Khazaradze.

According to the same statement, the issue of releasing those detained during ongoing protest rallies is actively discussed during meetings with the local population in the regions.

“The main topics of discussion at the meetings include the political crisis in Georgia, the protest rallies, the pro-Russian policies of the unrecognized government, the shift in the strategic and geopolitical direction, and Ivanishvili’s betrayal of the country.

Citizens living in cities and villages of the regions need detailed and direct information about the protest rallies in Tbilisi and the expanding protest hotspots across the regions.

In the regions, the central topic is the issue of political prisoners, the work to be done both domestically and internationally, and the pressure needed to ensure the regime’s captives are freed as soon as possible.

Coordination with political leaders is vital for local residents, in order to engage effectively in the protest and lead the joint struggle successfully,” the statement reads.
