“We have begun meetings in the US Congress, first of all, in order to thank the members of Congress for the “MEGOBARI Act”, which has been recently adopted by the House of Representatives and which has been transferred to the Senate.

Naturally, we will also have meetings in the Senate to ensure that this act is adopted in a timely manner, which offers many benefits to the Georgian people, to Georgia, but also envisages personal sanctions on Ivanishvili and his entourage. Our delegation also includes President Saakashvili's son, Nikoloz Saakashvili, who said something very important today at the meeting, that his father is being persecuted for opposing Putin, but this is an opposition that America, Ukraine, and Georgia will definitely win, and our task is to be on the winning side," said Tina Bokuchava.
