Shalva Papuashvili to deliver annual report at today’s plenary session

Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili will deliver his annual report at today’s plenary session.

According to the current parliamentary regulations, the Speaker of Parliament customarily presents the annual report on the Parliament’s activities and the action plan for the upcoming year during the first week of the spring session’s plenary meetings. Following the presentation of the report, political statements will be made during the session.

Under the draft of the new regulations, which is still under discussion, the Speaker will no longer be required to present the Parliament’s action plan as part of the annual report.
