We are standing on a path that is not momentary, artificial, or imposed on us, but eternal - this is a reminder to everyone that the Georgian people will always stand for their own values, which are truly Georgian, European and Christian, - the Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili, told journalists at the procession dedicated to the Day of the Sanctity of the Family and Respect for Parents.

According to him, the Day of the Sanctity of the Family and Respect for Parents is at the same time a reminder to everyone that the Georgian people will stand for their own values.

“I congratulate everyone on the Day of the Sanctity of the Family. This shows what our civilizational choice is. We are standing on a path that is not momentary, artificial, or imposed on us, but eternal. This is at the same time a reminder to everyone, at home and abroad, that the Georgian people will always stand for their values, which are truly Georgian, European and Christian,” Papuashvili said.
