Irakli Kobakhidze: You see where their own patron has brought the opposition - about 150 people come out on Rustaveli Avenue every day, and they show the public the completely poor face of the opposition today

About 150 people come out on Rustaveli Avenue every day, and they show the public the completely poor face of the opposition today - we will not allow the radical opposition to organize any serious provocation on May 26, - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.

According to him, the opposition does not have any resources to organize a provocation.

"They talk about provocations, even about victims, although, of course, their plans are not intended to be implemented. They do not have the elementary resources for this. You see where their own patron has brought the opposition. Every day, about 150 people come out on Rustaveli Avenue and every day they show the public what the current completely weak face of the opposition is. Under these conditions, of course, the opposition does not have the resources to organize any provocations, therefore, the May 26 celebration will take place as it should. This is a national holiday. This is an Independence Day, therefore, it should be a common public celebration and naturally, we cannot allow the radical opposition to organize any serious provocations on this day. Naturally, this day should be held as a common national holiday," Kobakhidze said.
