According to him, for some opponents, Kobakhidze's conversation with Macron was largely hysterical.

"When there is a meeting at the highest level, 15-20-30 seconds is a very important time to state your positions. And this is not the level of leadership that can exchange some words just for the sake of formality. There is no format for bilateral meetings at all, and with Macron, even during a short meeting, of course, the expression of positions was at the level that corresponds to the positions of the leaders of states. Therefore, even with two words, you can share a positive message with each other on certain issues. So, if you have a complaint about the time, of course, this is not an argument.

There was a meeting not only with Macron. There were meetings with various leaders. Quite meaningful, in some cases, quite long conversations. These formats exist, and people watching these formats, some are filled with hope, positivity, while others are driven into hysterics. I think this conversation with Macron was also hysterical for some of our opponents, to a significant extent," - said Volski.

For information, as Irakli Kobakhidze stated while commenting on his brief conversation with Emmanuel Macron, the French and Georgian sides have a common perception of how the processes are developing in Georgia.

"It was a brief conversation with Macron. We agreed on the perception. In general, I can say that we have a common perception of how the processes are developing in Georgia. I cannot go into specifics, because this is a conversation between two people. We do not have the opportunity to voice this, but I can confirm that our perception of the events in Georgia is similar," - said Kobakhidze.
