It is important that we create an alternative process, and this alternative process should include, among other things, a public plebiscite using the electronic election format, - Levan Bezhashvili, one of the leaders of the Unity - National Movement said after the end of a joint meeting of opposition parties and non-governmental organizations.
According to Bezhashvili, it must be decides who will contribute to the legitimacy of Bidzina Ivanishvili's regime by participating in the elections and who will remain in the struggle with the Georgian people.
"It is important for political parties and non-governmental organizations to form an opinion in society that we should not, with our participation, support the regime in local self-government elections, legitimize it and hold elections, therefore it is important that we create an alternative process and this alternative process should include, among other things, a public plebiscite using the electronic election format or expressing an opinion, ensuring this process.
As for the mockery, that there is no application, it has not been implemented in Estonia, etc. - only one National Movement has the experience of conducting electronic elections by approximately sixty thousand people, and in today's twenty-first century Georgia, there are many applications to ensure this, we have experience with this and this will not be a problem in any way. The main thing the political parties to decide who will contribute to the legitimization of Ivanishvili's regime by participating in the local elections, and who will remain with the Georgian people and continue the protest movement," Bezhashvili said.
