The court has been turned into a fortress, all the doors are locked. It seems they are planning to arrest Zurab Japaridze — this is today's prison-state. Opposition politician Gigi Ugulava made this statement to journalists.

According to him, this is not a court, "this is a corporation of monsters that does whatever it’s ordered to do."

"Today, something much more serious is happening here, in the court. We are practically observing the chronicle of an announced arrest. It seems they are planning to arrest Zurab Japaridze, and we see what’s happening in the court. It’s been turned into a fortress. All the doors are locked. The police have been pulled from all over Eastern Georgia and stationed here. This is the prison-state we live in today.

The longer this violence and madness continues, the outcome will only be one. The longer Georgian Dream marches on, the longer it commits violence, the more painful and brutal Ivanishvili’s and their end will be. That is the logic no one in world history has ever escaped. Remember this day well! If this violence continues, unfortunately, more arrests will follow — but the result will be brutal for Ivanishvili. This violence breeds such deep hatred that it will sweep over him, his family, and everyone involved like a terrible storm. Everyone making these decisions and unlawfully detaining people must realize this. This is not a court — it’s a corporation of monsters that blindly follows orders," said Gigi Ugulava.

For context: A court hearing for Zurab "Girchi" Japaridze is scheduled today at 15:00 at Tbilisi City Court. The hearing concerns his failure to appear before a temporary parliamentary investigative commission. The court will likely consider changing his pretrial restrictions. Zurab Japaridze himself does not rule out the possibility of being arrested.
