Irakli Kobakhidze: The main thing that the Soviet authorities were inciting in Georgia 35 years ago was hatred. Today as well, the main thing that Georgia’s ill-wishers are trying to sow once again is hatred among Georgians

"On this day, we must remind ourselves that the main enemy of independence and freedom is hatred,” – Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said during his speech at the swearing-in ceremony of new conscripts.

As the head of government noted, “even today, the main thing that Georgia’s ill-wishers are trying to sow in our country is once again hatred among Georgians.”

“On this day, we must remind ourselves that the main enemy of independence and freedom is hatred. That is precisely why the main thing that the Soviet authorities were inciting in Georgia 35 years ago was hatred. Even today, the main thing that Georgia’s ill-wishers are trying to sow in our country is once again hatred among Georgians. If we overcome hatred and let love unite us, nothing will be able to stand in the way of the Georgian spirit and talent,” – the Prime Minister said.
