Regarding May 26, citizens are gathering on Rustaveli Avenue.

The final event titled "Georgia Will Protect You Again," organized by the "May 26 National Committee," the opposition, and the civil sector, will begin on Rustaveli Avenue at 21:00.

It is noteworthy that in the evening, the fifth president, Salome Zurabishvili, will address the gathered citizens, and Members of the European Parliament, who arrived in Tbilisi especially for Georgia’s Independence Day, will also join the gathering.

Throughout the day today, a series of events and marches were held, organized by the fifth president, Salome Zurabishvili, the opposition parties, and civil society. Marches and processions were organized from several locations in the capital, and ultimately, citizens gathered near the legislative body.

Additionally, it should be noted that today marks the 180th day of continuous protest. Since November 28, citizens have been taking to the streets every day to express their protest.
