Irakli Kobakhidze: Our commitment to European integration is strong, but we will not compromise our dignity and sovereignty, double standards are unacceptable to us, and we will not exchange our identity for political favors

Our commitment to European integration is strong, but we will not compromise our dignity and sovereignty, double standards are unacceptable to us, and we will not exchange our identity for political favors, - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said in his speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference.

As the Head of Government noted, deeply disturbing events are taking place in today's unstable world.

"In today's unstable world, we are witnessing a deeply disturbing phenomenon: we are witnessing the rise of liberal fascism! In the form of an aggressive and intolerant, foreign-funded ideology and movement that aims to weaken states and public institutions, incite hatred, promote gender and LGBT propaganda, and destroy the fundamental values of our society. It pretends to protect rights, but it destroys the right of a nation to determine its own development; under the guise of tolerance, it tries to suppress dissent," said Irakli Kobakhidze.
