Sooner or later, everyone will held accountable for these cases - Tea Tsulukiani's shows will seem nothing, believe me. I am saying this for everyone to hear, including my prosecutor, - Giorgi Bachiashvili, the former head of the Co-Investment Fund, stated at the trial.
As Bachiashvili noted, he will report all the details to the investigation, "in order to once again show the public what kind of country we live in and whose criminal orders the entire state is carrying out today."
According to him, everyone will be held accountable sooner or later.
“I am in no way guilty of any criminal case that was fabricated against me. Today I am Ivanishvili’s personal prisoner.
Today, I would like to inform you about another new, very big international crime. An international crime that was committed on the orders of Ivanishvili himself. On Saturday, May 24, I was kidnapped from abroad. My eyes were blindfolded. They kept me blindfolded for two days without any opportunity to inform or talk to my lawyer, prosecutor, judge, or family. Then, they directly abducted me and put me onto an Airzena plane and, without any explanation, in violation of all laws, they brought me abducted to Georgia.
The history of Georgia is full of many cases with various non-standard circumstances, however, in this case, the criminal group that today calls itself the Georgian government has truly outdone itself. I have no idea what information and what lies were given to another state, which led to such actions against me, but I want to tell you that they were greatly misled and the special operation to extort me acquired international proportions.
The Georgian authorities had no legal way to extradite me, because the Interpol search was suspended as a result of the appeal of my lawyers. Interpol had no difficulty in finding out within a few days that my criminal prosecution was completely political. Accordingly, the Georgian representatives, on the instructions of Bidzina Ivanishvili, resorted to the bandit path and abducted me to Georgia. In doing so, they violated not only the European Convention on Human Rights, but also numerous norms of international law, as well as numerous norms of the country in which I was.
I ask you to accept this statement of mine as the start of a new investigation. I will report all the details to the investigation not because I hope for this investigation, but because I want to show the public once again what kind of country we live in and whose criminal orders the entire state is carrying out today. This is unacceptable and this is the shame of our country, I will tell you directly. Today you are judging the personal prisoner of Bidzina Ivanishvili. Everyone will be held accountable for these cases sooner or later. Tea Tsulukiani's shows will seem nothing, believe me. I am saying this for everyone to hear, including my prosecutor," Giorgi Bachiashvili said.
