The Russian government is taking the persecution of political opponents to new levels. The regime is in such a panic that it is no longer formally waiting for the farce to be staged in the courtroom, - reads a statement released by Strong Georgia, which the Coalition posted on social networks.

According to the statement, against the backdrop of the announced repressions, Georgian Dream has already begun to kidnap political opponents from the streets.

"The arrest of one of the leaders of the Coalition for Changes, Nika Melia, is nothing more than confirmation of the systemic crisis in the so-called government vertical.

It seems that Ivanishvili's regime will use all the tools at its disposal to "neutralize" the leaders of the opposition.

The coalition Lelo-Strong Georgia expresses its support to Nika Melia and his political team!", - reads the statement.

The leader of the Coalition for Change, Nika Melia, has been arrested near Lake Lisi. It is not yet known what Melia was arrested for. Official information about the arrest of the oppositionist has not been released at this time.
