If we imagine that a person sentenced to 11 years was detained and the law was enforced on the basis of an operation, this is completely legal, - this is how Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze answered a journalist's question about whether the relevant agencies would get interested in Bachiashvili's information that he was kidnapped and brought to Georgia.

According to the Prime Minister, even if we imagine such an operation theoretically, it is completely within the framework of the law.

"Even if we imagine this, when a person has been sentenced to 11 years and is detained and the law is enforced on the basis of an operation, this is completely legal. I will repeat once again, if this really happened, I do not know, in this case, the authors of the relevant operation deserve not only compliments, but also the Medal of Honor, the relevant award," - the Prime Minister said.

As for Giorgi Bachiashvili's statement regarding his arrest, Kobakhidze said, "the State Security Service can only dream of the dissemination of such information."

"As for the information that is being disseminated, I don't know, maybe the State Security Service is paying money for PR either to Bachiashvili, or to TV Pirveli, or to both together, of course, half-jokingly. They claim that the State Security Service conducted a miraculous operation in the United Arab Emirates and brought the criminal, who was charged with a serious crime, to Georgia on the basis of an operation. The State Security Service can only dream of the dissemination of such information, even Mossad would be jealous of conducting such an operation. I don't know what they are paying Nodar Meladze, I know that at one time, he was paid certain amounts from a specific building, maybe this process is ongoing, we should ask the Security Service about this," the Prime Minister said.
