Ivanishvili’s regime is a monster with glass legs that can be broken at any time, Paata Manjgaladze, one of the leaders of the Strategy Builder, told journalists when responding to the arrest of Nika Melia.

According to Manjgaladze, Bidzina Ivanishvili is scared and hiding, which is why he is trying to arrest opposition leaders and isolate them from political processes.

“Ivanishvili’s regime is a monster with glass legs that can be broken at any time. Therefore, he is trying to isolate those who can break him together with people and be active in this struggle. His targets are Giorgi Vashadze, Nika Melia, Zura Japaridze, Nika Gvaramia and Mamuka Khazaradze. Ivanishvili is scared and hiding,” Manjgaladze said.

Regarding the attempt to reset US-Georgia relations and Senator Steve Daines' visit to Georgia, Manjgaladze noted that the US, as the flagship of democracy, is sending a message to the Georgian government that more democracy, free elections, and an end to violence against political leaders are needed.

"America is still the flagship of democracy in the world. Their message is more democracy, free elections, and an end to violence against political leaders. The main demand of the opposition is new elections and the release of detainees, while Ivanishvili's is more violence, more repression, more arrests," he said.
