Kupradze noted in the same context that politicians are needed on the battlefield, outside, in the process of resistance together with citizens.
“The fact is that Bidzina Ivanishvili has entered a different and special stage of political persecution. This is precisely what the case of Nika Melia, who was kidnapped from the street while he was still out of bail, indicates.
This is proof that Bidzina Ivanishvili is afraid of political leaders who are at large. Our goal is to make Ivanishvili’s life as difficult as possible, including to achieve the release of political leaders as soon as possible, because they are needed on the battlefield, outside, with citizens, in the process of resistance that the pro-Western opposition must wage,” Irakli Kupradze said.
In addition, Irakli Kupradze also commented on the dismissed civil servants. According to him, an agreement should be reached between the pro-Western opposition parties, according to which each civil servant dismissed from service after the change of government will return to his position.
According to him, all officials who issued and executed orders to dismiss and prosecute civil servants must be punished.
"The government, which has nothing left but violence, repression, and dismissal of civil servants, will definitely be held accountable.
The initial agreement that should exist between the pro-Western opposition parties is that each dismissed civil servant will definitely return to the position where he or she first worked, and justice will be restored under our government.
This is a promise that no political party can escape," Irakli Kupradze states.
