According to TV Pirveli and Formula, Georgian Dream has filed a complaint against them with the Communications Commission.

According to Formula, they are accused by the Georgian Dream representative of "violating certain legal norms" on broadcasting.

According to the TV company, Georgian Dream is demanding that Formula be held responsible for violating new norms set forth in the Law on Broadcasting and that a temporary rule for the enforcement of sanctions be enacted.

"The complaint, which TV Formula received today, contains excerpts from the channel's news programs as well as social pages, in which, according to the Georgian Dream, the norms of the law are violated.

The document states that the Georgian Dream's complaint must be considered by the National Communications Commission and establish whether Formula violated the law.

The disputed terms are: "illegitimate parliament", "so-called chairman of the parliament", "oligarch's deputy", "regime’s city court". Georgian Dream is suing Formula for referring to Bidzina Ivanishvili as an "oligarch," - the information released by Formula says.

TV Pirveli also says that Georgian Dream sued them. The head of the channel's information service, Nodar Meladze, states that the complaint has been filed with the Communications Commission.

According to Nodar Meladze, Georgian Dream demands that journalists and presenters no longer use such terms on live broadcasts as "illegitimate government"; "oligarch regime"; "clan’s servant judge" and so on.
