Giga Bokeria said that he will not participate in the "political masquerade".

"We heard another hatred, slander and Putinist propaganda from Ms. Tsulukiani: she suggests that I appear on the so-called commission on my own initiative.

As for this shameful political masquerade in the form of a commission, my position remains the same: I do not recognize the political legitimacy of this parliament, I consider the task of this commission and this propaganda to be an attempt to transform the current crisis into a confrontation with the previous government, which I do not intend to support.

The use of state institutions for political purposes and political persecution, which is being carried out using this commission, among other things, and as a result of which we have several additional political prisoners, is, of course, a serious problem.

At the same time, the reason why protests continue in Georgia is related to something even bigger than politically motivated persecution. It concerns our common future, our statehood and sovereignty, which, together with the external enemy, Russia, is threatened by the Ivanishvili regime.

And finally - I will repeat: the Ivanishvili regime mocks its own supporters when it does not summon me and summons and arrests those opponents of the regime who had nothing to do with the previous government," Giga Bokeria stated.
