I kindly ask everyone not to deny this version if possible, as it significantly boosts the prestige of the State Security Service, said Mamuka Mdinaradze, Executive Secretary of “Georgian Dream,” commenting on Giorgi Bachiashvili’s statement that Anri Okhanashvili, head of the State Security Service, was on the flight that brought him back to Georgia.

According to Mdinaradze, such operations are seen in films, and therefore, he really likes Bachiashvili’s version.

He also stated that the investigation will provide exhaustive answers to all questions.

“According to this version, Anri Okhanashvili personally conducted a special operation in another country, resulting in bringing a convicted person back to Georgia from abroad. We’ve seen such operations in movies, heard about them, and watched with great interest. So, let’s not deny this version or say it didn’t happen this way. If you ask me more seriously, as far as I know, an investigation has been initiated, and naturally, there is an obligation to thoroughly investigate such matters, including the details of his detention. I am confident that the investigation will provide detailed and exhaustive answers to all questions. However, I won’t contradict the version voiced by him, simply because I really like it,” Mdinaradze stated.
