Official visit of Irakli Kobakhidze to Hungary begins

The official visit of the Georgian government delegation, led by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, to Hungary has started.

According to the Georgian Government Administration, an official welcome ceremony was held at the Hungarian Prime Minister’s Palace.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán hosted his Georgian counterpart. The national anthems of both countries were performed. The Prime Ministers of Georgia and Hungary introduced their respective cabinet members to each other.

“Within the framework of the official visit, a face-to-face meeting between Irakli Kobakhidze and Viktor Orbán is planned. Bilateral negotiations will take place between the cabinet members of the two countries, followed by a session of the Georgia-Hungary Intergovernmental Commission.

After the conclusion of the commission’s session, a joint press conference of the Prime Ministers of Georgia and Hungary is scheduled,” the statement reads.
