Viktor Orbán to Kobakhidze: “I love my homeland,” “I am proud of my country” – such phrases are now considered shameful in the West and are no longer used – we are delighted to host guests who share the same feelings and sentiments

“‘I love my homeland,’ ‘I am proud of my country’ – such phrases are now considered shameful in the West and are no longer used, but we still love saying these words and are delighted to host guests who share the same feelings and sentiments toward these phrases,” Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán stated during the second session of the Georgia-Hungary Intergovernmental Commission.

Addressing Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Orbán said it is a great honor to host him in Hungary.

“‘I love my homeland,’ ‘I am proud of my country’ – such phrases are now considered shameful in the West and are no longer used, but we still love saying these words and are delighted to host guests who share the same feelings and sentiments toward these phrases. Your visit is a great privilege for us due to the results you have achieved in your country. European economies are suffering greatly now. If someone achieves over 1% economic growth, it is a great success. Therefore, your 7% growth is a galactic phenomenon. I know this is truly the result of your immense efforts. It is always a great honor to welcome and host you in Hungary,” the Hungarian Prime Minister declared.
