The fifth President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, says that Ministry of Internal Affairs has fined her 5,000 GEL for blocking the road.

Salome Zurabishvili wrote about the above on social media and posted a photo of the administrative violation report.

The case concerns the rally held on Rustaveli Avenue on March 3, where, as Zurabishvili writes, she was indeed present.

“I have beenas baptized as an activist today! And I stood where all mothers should have stood - by the side of the mothers of prisoners of conscience!” - writes Salome Zurabishvili.
