The fifth President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, will participate in the GLOBSEC International Security Forum in Prague on June 13, alongside world leaders.
This information was released by Zurabishvili's press service.
"This year, GLOBSEC will host its 20th anniversary forum, bringing together politicians, international political and military experts, as well as representatives from business and academia to discuss global security, energy, cybersecurity, and transatlantic partnership issues.
Salome Zurabishvili will deliver a speech during the GLOBSEC 2025 panel discussion titled 'Georgia’s Democratic Future', which is entirely dedicated to recent developments in Georgia — the growing institutional and democratic backsliding in the country, and the challenges this poses to Euro-Atlantic integration. The discussion will focus on the crucial role that Georgia’s democratic development and steadfast commitment to Western values play.
The GLOBSEC Forum is one of Europe’s most influential annual security forums, held since 2005,” the statement reads.
