Nathalie Loiseau: The “Georgian Dream” regime is turning Georgia into a Stalinist regime

The “Georgian Dream” regime is turning Georgia into a Stalinist regime, – writes MEP Nathalie Loiseau on her X (formerly Twitter) account.

“Will speaking at the European Parliament, when your country is a candidate for EU membership, get you into trouble? The ‘Georgian Dream’ regime is turning Georgia into a Stalinist regime,” Loiseau wrote.

She was specifically responding to a post by Transparency International Georgia, which stated that the “Ivanishvili-Kuprashvili Anti-Corruption Bureau” used Eka Gigauri’s speech at the European Parliament as a legal basis to request personal information about citizens protected by the organization, and that the court approved this request.
