Mamuka Khazaradze to Revaz Kiknadze: This is a fatherly request: don’t fall for disinformation. That’s exactly where Bidzina wins. He’ll probably arrest me too; we might even end up in the same cell and talk, agree on how to free the country from the Russian regime

“This is a fatherly request: don’t fall for disinformation. That is exactly where Bidzina wins – through division, provocation, and confrontation. There’s a high chance I’ll be arrested too, and we might even end up in the same cell, where we’ll have time to talk and agree on how to free the country from the Russian regime,” – this is how Mamuka Khazaradze, leader of Lelo – For Strong Georgia, addresses Revaz Kiknadze, who was detained during the protests and has released a letter from prison in which he refers to Khazaradze.

According to Khazaradze, Bidzina Ivanishvili wins precisely through provocation and confrontation.

“I read the letter from political prisoner Rezo Kiknadze. This is a fatherly request: don’t fall for disinformation.

This is exactly where Bidzina wins – by dividing us, provoking, creating confrontation...

And what do I have to do with cell transfers or the prison?

Criticize me as much as you want – it is precisely through the clash of differing opinions that truth is born.

In fact, there’s a strong chance I’ll be arrested too, and we might end up in the same cell. We’ll have plenty of time to talk and agree on how to free the country from the Russian regime.

The important thing is to clearly understand who the enemy is and who the ally is.

Please, don’t fall for the provocation!” – said Khazaradze.

For context: Revaz Kiknadze, who was detained during the protest rallies, released a letter from prison in which he said that he was transferred from his cell, and the reason given was his criticism of Mamuka Khazaradze.

According to him, his courtroom statement was interpreted as criticism of Khazaradze. The statement in question referred to the failure of certain politicians to pay bail after being assigned this measure for refusing to appear before the parliamentary investigative commission.
